Business Builder project managed a Working Neighbourhood Funded contract with Leicester City Council for Employer Engagement from April to October 2011.
The One Skilled Workforce Employer Engagement Team worked together with the Multi Access Centre network and other support providers to ensure that the publicly-funded provision of pre-employment guidance and training for jobseekers was closely aligned to the needs of employers & the local economy. The team had strong links with local employers to identify employment opportunities. The key focus was on brokering Guaranteed Interviews for unemployed clients in the Leicester area.
By the end of the contract on 31st October 2011 the One Skilled Workforce Employer Engagement team had brokered over 300 Guaranteed Interviews.
